Most of our custom formulas contain prescription-only ingredients and require a prescription. Don't worry - this is included in the process. You'll complete a short medical questionnaire, and one of our partner pharmacists will review it to issue your prescription if appropriate.

Estimated dispatch is 3-5 working days after your prescription is approved, since your formula is freshly compounded to order. Delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked 24. If you order more than one item, they may arrive as separate shipments on different days, since items are often prepared and dispatched by different partner pharmacies as soon as each is ready. You can check progress any time in your profile.

Yes, absolutely. All orders are shipped in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of the contents or our company name on the outside.

A 100ml bottle typically lasts 3 months with standard once-daily application.

Once an order is placed and the prescription issued, we cannot change the formula for that order. However, you can create a different formula for your next order or subscription renewal.

All prescriptions are reviewed by GPhC-registered pharmacists. They check your medical questionnaire to ensure the formula you've selected is safe and appropriate for you.

If a pharmacist determines that a formula isn't suitable for you, they'll contact you to discuss alternatives. If no suitable alternative can be found, you'll receive a full refund.

Prescriptions are typically valid for 6-12 months, depending on the medication. For subscription orders, renewal questionnaires are built into the process automatically.

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. All payments are processed securely.

No. Prescription and custom-compounded medications cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once dispensed. This is required by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, and GPhC pharmacy standards, which do not allow dispensed prescription medicines to be returned to stock. The only exceptions are where your prescription is declined before dispatch, the product is damaged in transit, faulty, or supplied in error. Yes. Non-prescription items can be returned within 14 days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Return postage is at your own cost and you are responsible for the item until it reaches us, so we recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage. Please include your full name and order number inside the package and send to: Hair Repair Clinic Ltd, 6 Dixon Street, Middleton, Greater Manchester, M24 6GS. Once we receive the item in its original unused condition, we will refund the item cost together with the standard outbound delivery charge within 14 days to your original payment method.
