Why patients choose Hair Repair Clinic

Everything about our model is built to protect your result, your money and your trust.

See the surgeon, not a salesman

Your first call is with our patient coordinator. Your second is a full video review with Dr Moussa himself. No sales team. No commission. You speak to the people who will actually perform your surgery.

Transparent all-in pricing

Hairline restoration £4,500. Larger areas £5,500. Both prices include hotel accommodation for travellers, 12 months of prescription hair loss medication, and full aftercare. No hidden extras.

Hotel included for travellers

If you are travelling to us, your overnight stay near the clinic is included in the price. Arrive relaxed. Recover comfortably. Go home the next day.

12 months of medication included

Every procedure includes 12 months of prescription hair loss medication, dispensed by our GPhC registered UK partner pharmacy. Ongoing meds protect your surrounding native hair and hold your result.

No-quibble policy

Change your mind before your procedure date and we refund your deposit. No questions, no hard sell. We would rather you were sure than push you into surgery you are not ready for.

Medication first

Not everyone needs surgery

Hair transplant surgery is the right answer when follicles have died and no medication will bring them back. Before that point, prescription-strength topicals and oral treatments can slow, stop or reverse hair loss without a scalpel.

Early loss

Medication only

Slight thinning, no visible scalp. DHT blockers (finasteride, dutasteride) plus minoxidil, plus microneedling. Can slow or stabilise progression, with visible improvement in many patients.

Moderate loss

Medication plus surgical planning

Visible thinning, receding hairline. Full medical stack, plus an early conversation about surgery so you have a plan for when medication plateaus.

Advanced loss

Surgery plus ongoing medication

Dead follicles, bare scalp. Surgery restores what medication cannot. Ongoing medication protects the native hair behind the transplant.

Your surgeon

Dr Ahmad Moussa

MB BCh, MSc, MRCS(Eng), MD, FRCS(SN). GMC 6065705.

Dr Moussa is an NHS Neurosurgeon and Hair Transplant Surgeon who performs every hair transplant at Hair Repair Clinic personally. His neurosurgical background brings a level of precision and hairline artistry that most transplant clinics do not have.

He treats one patient per day. You get his full attention from consent through to the last graft. Corza single-use instruments. No production line. No junior surgeons rotating in.

Life-changing result

Six months in and the difference is genuine. Dr Moussa spent hours with me on the day, and Jake stayed in touch every week afterwards. Zero pressure, everything explained.

Jonathan R.

Best decision I made

I looked at Turkey and I looked at half a dozen UK clinics. Only one wanted to talk to me about NOT having surgery if the meds could still work. That is why I went with them.

Mr S. A.

Genuinely no salesman

Straight in with the surgeon, straight to the plan, straight to the price. No upsell. Twelve months on and I have my hairline back, and my meds show up every month.

Jack C.

Treated like a person, not a number

One patient a day means you get the surgeon’s full attention. Rebecca reviewed my scalp before we booked and gave me options I did not know existed. Recovery was smoother than I expected.

Marc T.

Straight talk

What we always tell you up front

Transplants redistribute existing hair

Follicles are moved from donor areas (the back and sides) into thinning areas. Your total hair count does not go up. Good planning is the difference between a great result and a wasted donor supply.

Surgery does not stop future loss

Non-transplanted hair around the transplant can continue to thin over time. This is why every procedure comes with 12 months of medication and a conversation about staying on it long term.

A transplant to your crown without meds is palm trees on the moon

If the surrounding hair keeps receding and you do nothing about it, the transplanted patch will end up looking isolated on a bare scalp. Medication protects the result. We say so up front.

Not everyone is a candidate

Donor density, scalp laxity, age, family pattern, and current medication use all affect whether surgery is the right move. Dr Moussa will tell you if it is not. That is the point of the assessment.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a hair transplant cost with Hair Repair Clinic?
Our pricing is transparent and tiered: hairline restoration is £4,500 all-in, larger areas (crown or full pattern) are £5,500 all-in. Both prices include hotel accommodation for travellers, 12 months of prescription hair loss medication, and our no-quibble policy. No hidden extras.
How many hairs are in each graft?
Grafts contain an average of 2.1 hairs. Some contain 1 hair, some contain 3 or 4, but the average is 2.1. Be cautious of clinics that quote a flat 3 or 4 hairs per graft, or that talk about "grafts" and "hairs" interchangeably. The numbers matter for planning realistic coverage.
How long does a hair transplant take?
A typical procedure takes 6 to 8 hours under local anaesthetic. Dr Moussa treats one patient per day, so you have his full attention throughout. You can watch TV, listen to music, or rest. We break for lunch. You go home the same day.
Will I need more than one procedure?
Most patients need only one. However, hair loss is progressive, and non-transplanted native hair can continue to thin over time. This is why we include 12 months of prescription medication with every procedure, and why our team will discuss ongoing medical treatment as part of your plan.
What about Turkey?
Turkish clinics can be significantly cheaper because they run production-line models with multiple patients per surgeon per day and inconsistent surgical involvement. Our model is the opposite: one surgeon, one patient, one day. If cost is the only factor, Turkey may be right for you. If you want a UK GMC-registered consultant surgeon performing your entire procedure with UK follow-up, we are the right choice.
What is the no-quibble policy?
If you change your mind before your procedure date, we refund your deposit. No questions, no hard sell, no pressure. We would rather you were sure than lock you into surgery you are not ready for.
Do you use meds after the procedure?
Yes. Every procedure includes 12 months of prescription hair loss medication dispensed by our GPhC registered UK partner pharmacy. Ongoing medication protects the surrounding native hair and helps maintain your result. Our team will guide you on the right regimen for your case.
