The day was rather enjoyable and was carried out exactly as was promised in my pre appointment chats. If you're thinking about getting an FUE in the UK, then I can't recommend Dr Ahmad and the guys at The Surgery Group enough. The whole experience was great from start to finish. I initially contacted Surgery Group via email and was contacted by Matthew in no time at all, with him kindly taking time to discuss things over the phone and provide answers to any questions I had. This was followed by a phone consultation with Dr Moussa, who really impressed me and made me feel confident I was talking to the right guys to undergo what was a massive thing for me. I booked the procedure without hesitation. I’m now day 16 following my FUE procedure conducted by Dr Moussa and his great team of technicians in Nottingham - I cannot fault the service I received on the day and the way I was looked after by all involved. Dr Moussa was fantastic and worked with me to create my new (vastly improved) hairline until we were both happy with the design I highly recommend Surgery Group and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future should I require a second procedure.

After a few years of thinking about getting a hair transplant I decided that this year was the year. I enquired at various places in the UK and in Turkey, looking at price, reviews and patient outcomes and the surgery group came out as the best all rounder. Out of all the places these where the only place that would answer all my questions without pressuring you into booking. They go over and above your exceptions! Jake is wicked he is always at the end of the phone if you need him for anything and regularly checks in to see how your doing before the op, on the day and after the op making sure everything goes/went well and that you’ve got the right aftercare. I had my op done by Dr Ahmad, he settled any nerves that I had and made me feel at ease. Dr Ahmad and the team chatted and had banter with me throughout the op! they even offer to put you on medication to stop any future hair loss. I’ve got a few mates that have had their hair done at various places and most of them have had some form of bad experience along the way. These guys deserve 10 stars, cheers Jake, Matthew and the rest of the team :)

Really great team and relatively painless, stress free procedure. The pre-op consultation was straightforward and informative. The procedure was easy and as I say pretty painless - bar the initial anastetic injections but even these were nothing more than a bee sting. Staff throughout were brilliant. After car support and advice has also been great. I like to see myself as a macho man (my wife would say otherwise) and the idea of having cosmetic surgery would have previously been frowned upon by myself and my friends. Honestly though my friends have been great about it, a bit of banter here and there but at the end of the day if you're not happy with your hair do something about it - you have nothing to lose (bar £££). If people ask my why I just say that it's just because I wanted to, because I didn't like my rubbish patchy hair. No other explanation needed. The word transplant sounds scary but it's just someone moving some hair from the back of my head to the front. Really happy so far and money well spent 👍🏼

I received fantastic service first time round, this time I was back for a partial beard transplant this time and they did not disappoint. I wanted to go with dr Ahmad moussa again this time because he is just so easing and helpful, works with you every step of the way and is always checking to make sure you’re happy with everything before anything permanent is done whilst answering any and all questions,(just a genuine down to earth guy) The two techs were brilliant although I can’t remember their names, gentle and attentive. I also want to thank jake for being there from pre set up to weeks after surgery was complete.(every morning I would have a text asking if I’m ok and update photos and instructions on what to do, whilst answering any questions I had day and night. To be able to speak directly to the owner (Matthew - great guy) then to the surgeon himself was so refreshing, after speaking to the salesmen of other (more expensive!) companies. I had two transplants with these guys and the aftercare from Jake and Matthew was second to none. They were absolutely amazing and I am very glad I used them instead of all the other expensive options out there both here and abroad. I am a healthcare professional and at an age of 30 years I still have a fairly full head of hair. The only thing that "annoyed" me was that my hairline was receding so as to making the peaks of the classic 'M-shape' or more commonly known as widows peak more prominent and noticeable. Fantastic experience from initial consultation through to post procedure care! Everyone connected to The Surgery Group are genuine from the moment you speak to them and throughout the process! No BS, sales spin or unnecessary science, your care and satisfaction is their only concern. The procedure was more invasive than I had thought it would be and there were periods of being uncomfortable but overall it was bearable. Post op also brought some pain and swelling challenges but nothing I wasn’t advised on beforehand and support was on hand on what to do. Bottom line is follow the post op guidance notes you will be fine. The end result looks great even knowing it will fall out and take time to regrow it has restored lost confidence. My care team consisted of Jake, Matthew, Dr Ahmed, Maz, Claire and Anna. Thanks to all of you for your amazing work!

In the first instance I have to say a big "thank you" to the entire team who has been part of my experience so far. I am on day 17 following the procedure and (in no particular order), Jake, Matthew, Dr Ahmad, Amanda, Phil and Maz have all played their role in delivering a service that has been first class. I have had 2250 grafts in my crown and frontal area, creating what I hope to be a much improved and fuller hair line. The price I paid was a very competitive price and in my mind represents good value compared to other competitors. This said, the price paid is not the full story, as its the service of the said individuals pre, post and during, which is the reason why I would say don't bother wasting your time looking anywhere else. I did read the reviews and testimonials before talking to the team and I have to say, I agree with what the overwhelming majority are saying, that this really is the complete package. I spoke with a few clinics before I chose to go with The Surgery Group, based on the impressive consultations I had with both Jake and Dr. Ahmed and the very reasonable price offered for a 2500-graft FUT (I previously had an £8000 900-graft FUE in my naivety to go with the highest priced and not look around, and it was much below the standard I received from The Surgery Group). After the pre-consultation with Dr. Ahmed, where I was given some solid advice for now and planning for the future, Matthew booked a hotel for me a few minutes away from the clinic. The technicians and Dr. were great throughout the surgery and in managing any pain. Jake's support and the level of care both before and after surgery was incredible and a huge help, particularly during the aftercare stage. I can honestly say that this is 5+ Star service! The before and aftercare are fantastic, any questions you have at any time of day are answered, regardless of how silly they may sound! There are no sales people here!! The surgery itself went great, I actually fell asleep for most of it! Doctor Ahmad Moussa And his team “ Mandeline” & “Mazzy D” were fantastic and listened to you and your concerns throughout, I even drove home straight after the procedure which was a 4hr drive as I was in little to no discomfort. The price was fantastic for what they had to offer, most other places were more than double the price for a service that was nowhere near as great! Amanda, Phil and Dr Ahmad were excellent : kind, helpful, understanding and very down to earth, and helped ease my anxiety which was horrendous when i arrived. We ended up listening to classical FM on the radio which really helped pass the time, and i drank plenty of herbal tea ( thanks Phil/ Amanda) Mathew and Jake have been great with aftercare too, Jake has only ever been helpful and kept in touch every day following the procedure. I brought a friend along who drove us back which was just as well because it was a long day. This is an initial review but hopefully i can update in a few months once i see the results, but i am excited. However, what i will say right now was the professionalism/care/ attention was 10/10!

5 stars: Excellent A minute ago My beard transplant at Surgery Group. So far The Surgery Group have been amazing. I did a lot of research into what clinic to use and most of them slated each other which is not professional but Surgery Group never slated anyone else and never pressured me. I had access to Jake and Mathew through WhatsApp 24/7 if I needed their help and advise. They were both amazing. Dr Moussa phoned me for a video call about a month before surgery and he was very polite and informative and happily answered all my questions. I drove home the next morning and had daily contact with Jake and Mathew over the next 2 weeks to make sure I was ok and healing well. I would definitely recommend The Surgery Group to anyone wanting a hair/beard transplant and I would definitely use them again if I needed to. The price was £5000 which is very good and was the lowest quote I was given out of 6 places that I phoned. Very good value for money. I am very happy overall

Forget the rest, these are the best !!! I will try and keep it short snd sweet as all of the positive reviews are 100% correct. You will not find or receive this level of professionalism and service at this price anywhere. Having been put up at a local hotel on the doorstep the night before a great start, the day itself went brilliantly and I was on my way back to the North East at 5:00 pm, why go to Turkey or London ? there is absolutely no need to. Matthew and his team are second to none Dr Ahmad from his telephone consultation to meeting him and himself carrying out the procedure I must say was excellent throughout. The team of technicians Amanda, Eva and Emma were superb and Jakes aftercare has been amazing. Had approximately 1900 grafts due too some thinning and receding around the front of my hairline. Spoke with Matthew before hand and he explained what to expect etc. The procedure was completely pain free ( apart from slight discomfort when numbing the head , which only lasted a matter of seconds) but I was pleasantly surprised on how laid back everything was. The surgeon was great and the two technicians were brilliant, very friendly and professional. It took around 7 hours from start to finish and was very impressed with the whole procedure. I’m two months in and extremely happy about the way things are going, I know there’s a long way to go yet but I can already see a big difference in my hairline ! Looking forward to growing my hair in the coming months and seeing the progress 😁 Would like to thank all that was involved and a special thanks to Matthew for his fantastic work sorting things out, he still rings and txts me seeing how I’m getting on and if I need help or advice with anything.
