By accessing the Hair Repair Clinic staff portal, you agree to be bound by this Confidentiality Agreement. Breach may result in legal action.

1. Definitions

"Confidential Information" includes, but is not limited to:

Patient personal details, medical histories, and prescriptions
Business processes, pricing, and operational procedures
Technical systems, software, and security measures
Partner relationships and commercial agreements
Any information marked or reasonably understood to be confidential

2. Obligations

You agree to:

Keep all Confidential Information strictly confidential
Not disclose Confidential Information to any third party
Use Confidential Information only for authorised purposes
Take all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised disclosure
Not copy, record, or reproduce Confidential Information
Return or destroy all Confidential Information upon request

3. Special Category Data

You acknowledge that you will have access to special category data under GDPR, including health data. This data is subject to enhanced protection requirements. You must never access, process, or share health data except as strictly necessary for your authorised role.

4. Duration

This confidentiality obligation continues indefinitely, even after your engagement with Hair Repair Clinic ends. Patient medical information must remain confidential permanently.

5. Permitted Disclosures

You may disclose Confidential Information only if:

Required by law (e.g., court order, regulatory requirement)
Explicitly authorised by Hair Repair Clinic management in writing
Necessary to protect someone from serious harm (duty to warn)

In all cases, you must notify Hair Repair Clinic before making any disclosure unless prohibited by law.

6. Consequences of Breach

Breach of this agreement may result in:

Immediate termination of access and engagement
Disciplinary action including dismissal
Civil proceedings for damages
Criminal prosecution under data protection laws
Referral to professional regulatory bodies (e.g., GPhC)

7. Acknowledgement

By logging into the Hair Repair Clinic staff portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Confidentiality Agreement. You confirm that you understand the serious nature of handling patient medical data and the consequences of any breach.
