A plan, not a shopping trip
Most places sell you a shelf and leave you to work out what belongs on it. That is fine if you already know what you are doing. If you do not, it is where people either buy the wrong thing or give up and buy nothing.
A plan is the other way round. You answer a few questions, a UK prescriber decides what is appropriate for you, and what arrives is already the right combination for your situation, with how to use it printed on the label. A plan pairs something that acts on that process with something that supports the follicles still growing, which is why it does more than either on its own.

What a plan will not do
Treatment holds onto what you have and improves the hair that is still growing. It does not bring back a hairline that went years ago, results stop when treatment stops, and some men shed a little more in the first weeks before things settle. If what you want is the hair you had at 22, a prescriber will tell you honestly that this is not the route to it.
