Dermovate Scalp Application – Clobetasol Propionate 30ml

Dermovate Scalp Application contains Clobetasol propionate 0.05%, a very potent topical corticosteroid used for short-term treatment of scalp conditions that haven’t responded to milder steroid creams or foams.

When to Use

This treatment is indicated for steroid-responsive dermatoses of the scalp, including:

• Scalp psoriasis
• Recalcitrant dermatoses

Important Safety Advice

• This product is flammable. Keep away from fire, flames, and smoking during and after use.
• Not suitable for children under 1 year old.
• Do not use on infected skin or if allergic to any listed ingredients.

How to Apply

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
2. Unscrew the bottle cap and place the nozzle directly onto the affected scalp area.
3. Squeeze gently to apply a thin, even layer of liquid.
4. You may rub it in, but this is not essential. The liquid dries quickly with a cooling sensation.
5. Wash your hands again after use.

Recommended Dosage

Adults and Children over 1 year: Apply a small amount twice daily. Once improvement is seen, reduce to once a day or as directed by a healthcare provider.

Elderly: Use the lowest effective amount for the shortest duration.

Children: Use for as short a course as possible. Regular weekly review is recommended.

Liver/Kidney conditions: If used over a large area, systemic absorption may occur. Limit use accordingly.
