Your 3 Hair Loss Medication Questions Answered
THE MOST COMMON HAIR LOSS MEDICATION QUESTIONS THAT OUR PATIENTS ASK ARE THE FOLLOWING:
– Is hair loss medication a substitue for a hair transplant?
– Can I take hair loss medication without a prescription?
– Does hair loss medication actually work?
IS HAIR LOSS MEDICATION A SUBSTITUTE FOR A HAIR TRANSPLANT?
The short answer is ‘No’ but the longer answers is ‘It depends on the stage of your hair loss’. If you take hair loss medication early enough in the process of losing your hair, you might be able to delay hair loss and postpone the need of a hair transplant.
However, if your hair loss is genetic (which it the most common cause of baldness for men) then it’s almost impossible to stop it advancing without a hair transplant. However, the benefit is that the less hair you’ve lost, the fewer grafts you will need. That will make the hair transplant cheaper and easier.
In some cases, doctors recommend taking hair loss medication after a hair transplant. However, please consult with a doctor or complete a medical form before you starting takinghair loss medication (Finasteride).
CAN I TAKE HAIR LOSS MEDICATION WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION?
No, you shouldn’t be able to order Finasteride (Propecia) without prescription, at least not from any credible provider. You have to fill in a medical form before purchasing it, and a doctor has to approve it.
It’s simpler than it sounds and the form only takes a few minutes to complete. Read more about the Finasteride (Propecia) medication we provide here and have a look at our medical form here.
However, the process is much simpler for Minoxidil and you can actually order directly from our website without the need of a doctor’s approval. Read more about the Minoxidil we supply here (scroll to the bottom of the page) and order it by clicking the “Buy Now” Paypal button (you can pay with either Paypal, credit or debit card).
DOES HAIR LOSS MEDICATION ACTUALLY WORK?
Finasteride (Propecia) has been successfully tested in several medical trials and the results were positive. Since we are providing the medication we’ve also seen progress for our patients, who’ve experienced significant hair coverage over the course of the treatment.
However, results can depend on your type of hair loss you’re experiencing, that’s why we strongly advise purchasing the medication from a clinic so that a doctor can look over your medical information.
Here is an example of the type of results you can achieve with hair loss medication only (Finasteride, 1mg).
