Hair Transplants

When medication alone isn't enough, surgical hair restoration offers long-lasting results backed by experienced surgeons.

Medication First

We take a medical-first approach. Early-stage hair loss often responds well to clinically-proven treatments like Finasteride and Minoxidil, which can slow or stabilise progression.

When follicles have stopped producing viable hair, transplant surgery becomes the most reliable option to restore density. We'll always recommend the right path for your stage of hair loss.

Stage 1–2: Medication

DHT blockers and growth stimulants can maintain and regrow hair in early stages.

Stage 3–4: Combined Approach

Medication to stabilise loss, with transplant to restore density where needed.

Stage 5+: Surgical Restoration

When follicles are no longer viable, transplant surgery offers the best results.

Two Proven Techniques

Both FUE and FUT are established surgical methods with high success rates. Our surgical partner, Dr Ahmad Moussa, will recommend the best option for your needs.

FUE

Follicular Unit Extraction

Individual follicle extraction (0.6–0.9mm punch)

No linear scarring β€” minimal visible marks

Performed under local anaesthetic

Shorter recovery time (5–7 days)

Ideal for smaller to medium graft sessions

Natural-looking results matching hair angle and density

Most popular choice

From Β£4,000

FUT

Follicular Unit Transplantation

Strip method β€” removes a narrow scalp section from donor area

Allows larger graft harvests in a single session

Linear scar typically concealed by surrounding hair

Performed under local anaesthetic

Recovery time 10–14 days

Suitable for patients needing maximum graft coverage

Important to Know

Transplants redistribute existing hair

Follicles are moved from donor areas (typically the back and sides) to thinning areas. This does not increase your total hair count.

They don’t prevent future loss

Surrounding non-transplanted hair may continue to thin over time. Ongoing medication is often recommended to protect your investment.

Realistic expectations matter

The best outcomes come from conservative planning, experienced surgeons, and understanding that density restoration has limits based on your donor supply.

Not everyone is a candidate

Factors like donor hair density, scalp laxity, age, and the pattern of loss all affect suitability. A thorough consultation determines if surgery is right for you.

We recommend combining transplant surgery with ongoing medication to protect your results and maintain surrounding hair. View our treatments β†’
