Finasteride & Dutasteride – The Hair Loss Stoppers

Finasteride and Dutasteride are the only proven treatments that actually stop male pattern hair loss. They block DHT, the hormone that causes follicles to shrink.

How to use: Take 1mg Finasteride daily (or 1ml of 0.1% topical). Dutasteride is stronger and used for stubborn cases. Take at the same time each day. If you miss a dose, skip it, don’t double up.

Results: Improvements can show in a few months, with full results in up to a year. Keep taking it to maintain gains. Mild shedding early on is normal and temporary.

Minoxidil

Minoxidil (also known as Regaine) is FDA-approved for both men and women. It thickens existing hair and can encourage regrowth, but it doesn’t block DHT, so it won’t stop hair loss on its own.

Apply once or twice daily to a dry scalp. Leave at least 4 hours before washing or sleeping to avoid rubbing it off.

Results usually show in 3–6 months and only last while you keep using it. Mild shedding early on is normal. Side effects are rare, but some people experience redness or irritation.
